3. Data protection information in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) - as of June 2018

The GDPR, which came into effect on 25 May 2018, aims to harmonize the handling of personal data throughout Europe. This Privacy Notice is intended to inform all persons who contact Tailored Recruiting GmbH or visit www.tailoredrecruiting.com about the processing of their personal data and the associated consumer protection rights.

3.2 Reason for data storage
When you contact us, you send us your personal data. We process this exclusively for recruiting purposes and store them in our database sited with our data processing contractor Starhunter (see item 3.3). We use and store your data in order to consider you for current and future vacancies. Personal data are stored in our database and serve as a basis for decision-making in order to find and select suitable and appropriate candidates. The consultants of Tailored Recruiting GmbH have access to the data in their search for suitable candidates for recruiting and employer branding mandates. In addition, we use your personal information to propose you to our customers as a suitable candidate. We also use your contact information to keep you up to date on relevant vacancies and news from our company.

3.3 Location of data storage
Your data will only be passed on to third parties if you have previously given your expressed consent for the transfer of your data to customers in a double-opt-in process. This also gives us permission to keep you informed about potential vacancies and employers in the future. We transfer your data to our customer(s) in order to place you there as a suitable candidate. Your data will be stored on the servers of Starhunter GmbH (Erika-Mann-Str. 23, D-80636 Munich). Starhunter GmbH runs Starhunter software on the servers of Hetzner GmbH. Hetzner GmbH stores the data exclusively on servers located in Germany and Europe. Please find further information on this website: https://www.hetzner.de/ .

Furthermore, 1 & 1 Internet SE, Eigendorfer Strasse 57 in 56410 Montabaur, has an agreement for contract data processing regarding the hosting of this website and the use of the e-mail server. All e-mail communication is encrypted by SSL certificate.

3.4 Duration of data storage
We save your data for 2 years as a matter of course. You have the right to have your personal data stored for a shorter period. In this case, please inform us in writing.

3.5 Sources of stored data
Data are collected from different sources. These include, for example, your application documents, CVs and personal documents (employment certificates). The data is completed by imports of profiles possibly lodged at XING & LinkedIn, as well as notes taken during personal interviews and telephone calls we held with you. We also use information from third parties such as our customers or reference providers.

3.6 Automated decision-making
The pre-selection is supported by automated decision making. Candidates with experience in relevant industries or functional areas may be pre-selected in this manner. In the case of a match, you will be explicitly informed prior to disclosure of your data to third parties by email or telephone.

3.7 Your rights

⇒ You have the right to data portability. This means that we will send you your data in machine-readable format within 72 hours.

4. SSL- or TLS-encryption

This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and for the protection of the transmission of confidential content, such as the inquiries you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection in your browser's address line when it changes from "http://" to "https://" and the lock icon is displayed in your browser's address bar. 5. Cookies

6. Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

7. Contact form

Should you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provided there, will be stored in order to process the request as well as possible follow-up questions. We will not share this information without your consent. Hence the processing of the data entered into the contact form is exclusively based on your consent (as per GDPR Art. 6 (1) lit. a). You can revoke this consent at any time. An informal request by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations undertaken before such a revocation remains unaffected by the revocation. We will retain the data you provide on the contact form until you request its deletion, revoke your consent for its storage, or the purpose for its storage no longer pertains (e.g. after fulfilling your request). Mandatory statutory provisions - especially retention periods - remain unaffected.

8. Data transferred when signing up for services and digital content

We transmit personally identifiable data to third parties only to the extent required to fulfil the terms of your contract with us, for example, to banks entrusted to process your payments. Your data will not be transmitted for any other purpose unless you have given your express permission to do so. Your data will not be disclosed to third parties for advertising purposes without your express consent. Data is processed in accordance with GDPR Art. 6 (1) (b), which allows the processing of data to in order to fulfil a contract, or for measures preliminary to a contract.

9. Newsletter

Newsletter data

If you would like to receive our newsletter, we require a valid email address as well as information that allow us to verify that you are the owner of the specified email address and that you agree to receive this newsletter. Further data are not collected or are only collected on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively for the delivery of the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties. Hence the processing of the data entered into the contact form is exclusively based on your consent (as per GDPR Art. 6 (1) lit. a). You can revoke the consent for the storage of the data, the e-mail address, and their use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example by using the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter. The validity of data processing operations undertaken before such a revocation remains unaffected by the revocation. The data provided when registering for the newsletter will be used to forward the newsletter to you until you cancel your subscription, at which point the said data will be deleted. Data we have stored for other purposes (e.g. e-mail addresses for the members area) remain unaffected.

10. Privacy Policy regarding Facebook

You may visit our website without providing personal details. Your personal details will only be collected if you freely disclose them during your visit to our website or internet profile. Our website contains programmes (plug-ins) operated by the social network Facebook. These programmes are exclusively operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304 USA (Facebook). The plug-ins are clearly visible on our website through the use of the Facebook logo or through the add-on “like” button.

When visiting our website or profile containing such a plug-in, your browser will establish a direct link with the servers operated by Facebook; as a result the content of the plug-in will be transferred to your browser and embedded in the website being shown. If you visit our website whilst signed into your Facebook user account, information concerning your visit will be transferred to Facebook. 11. Privacy Policy regarding XING

We use network components of XING.com on our website. These components are a service of XING AG, Dammtor Street 29-32, 20354 Hamburg, Germany. Upon accessing our website, which is equipped with such components, these components cause your browser to establish a short-term connection to XING, which in turn causes your browser to download a corresponding component of XING. When this webpage is accessed a short-term connection is established via your browser to the servers at XING AG ("XING") with which the "XING" share button functions are provided (in particular the calculation/display of the counter value). To the best of our knowledge, no personal user data is stored anywhere by XING, nor does XING store any IP addresses. There is also no evaluation of user-behaviour with regard to the use of cookies in connection with the "XING share button". 12. Privacy Policy regarding LinkedIn

Our website uses components of the LinkedIn social network, operated by the LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States ("LinkedIn"). When you access our website, which includes such a component, this component causes your to download a corresponding component of LinkedIn. This process informs LinkedIn about which specific page of our Internet site is just being visited. If you click on the LinkedIn "recommend button" while you are logged in to your LinkedIn account, you can link the contents of our pages to your LinkedIn profile. This enables LinkedIn to assign your visit to our site to your LinkedIn account. We have neither any influence regarding data thus accumulated by LinkedIn, nor regarding the extent of such data. In addition, we have no knowledge of the contents of the data submitted to LinkedIn. 13. Objection to advertising emails

We hereby specifically prohibit the use of contact data published in the context of website legal notice requirements with regard to sending promotional and informational materials not expressly requested.
